About the role

We are seeking a General Nurse (F/H) to join the team at EHPAD Vitéal Oléron, a residential care facility for up to 57 elderly residents located near the Cotinière port on the island of Oléron. The position offers the chance to work in a tranquil maritime setting with beautiful green spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to elderly residents, including daily health monitoring and assistance with personal hygiene.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures according to medical prescriptions.
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and other health professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in health promotion activities and support residents in their daily living tasks.

Required profile

• Registered nurse with a valid French nursing license.
• Experience in elderly or long‑term care settings is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluency in French; proficiency in English is a plus.

• Clinical assessment and vital‑sign monitoring.
• Medication administration and dosage calculation.
• Wound care and basic life support (BLS) techniques.
• Documentation and electronic health‑record management.
