About the role

We are looking for a General Nurse (male or female) to join our team at EHPAD Vitéal Oléron, a residential care facility for up to 57 seniors located in the heart of the island’s main town, near the historic port of La Cotinière. The position offers a permanent contract (CDI) and the chance to work in a tranquil, sea‑breeze environment surrounded by green spaces and natural landscapes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to elderly residents, including daily health assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and promptly report any changes in condition.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with French health regulations.

Required profile

• Qualified nursing degree (RN or equivalent) recognized in France.
• Experience in elderly or nursing‑home care is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient‑centered care.
