About the role

We are looking for a qualified General Nurse (male or female) to join our team at the Vitéal Oléron residential care facility, an EHPAD located in the heart of Île d'Oléron. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to up to 57 elderly residents, ensuring their health, safety and wellbeing in a serene, sea‑air environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily nursing care, including medication administration, wound care and vital sign monitoring.
• Assess and document residents’ health status and communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to individualized care plans.
• Support residents with personal hygiene, mobility and nutritional needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualification recognized in France.
• Experience working in an elderly care or nursing home setting is preferred.
• Strong sense of empathy, good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in French language for patient interaction and documentation.
