Industrial & Supply Controller (Finance)

About the role

Biospringer, a business unit of Lesaffre producing natural-origin yeast ingredients for the food industry, is opening a new Industrial & Supply Controller position at its headquarters in Marcq-en-Barœul, France. Reporting to the Global Finance Director, the role sits within the Finance Team and combines financial expertise with operational insight, initially strengthening industrial controlling across manufacturing and supply chain sites such as the US, France, Serbia, China and Brazil, before extending to supply chain finance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor production costs (raw materials, labor, maintenance, utilities) and deliver actionable insights.
• Streamline cost variance analysis, forecasting and CAPEX management.
• Benchmark KPIs across global sites to identify best practices and drive improvements.
• Lead the rollout and standardization of SAP (Controlling module) for accurate, real-time financial reporting.
• Work with site controllers, production teams and procurement to align daily operations with financial objectives.
• Develop tools to monitor and optimize transportation costs and logistics efficiency, and support financial reviews of supply chain and sustainability projects with dashboards.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in industrial controlling, supply chain finance or similar roles.
• Proven track record with international teams and multi-site operations.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced SAP, especially the CO module (PP knowledge is a plus).
• Production cost analysis and CAPEX management.
• Strong analytical ability and communication skills.
