Industrial Equipment Project Manager

About the role

Airbus Helicopters SASE is looking for a project manager for industrial equipment in the Marseille area. The role covers investment projects and the acquisition of industrial means, from technical specifications through to the end of the warranty period, within the site's development plan.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deliver industrial equipment that meets internal client specifications and budget constraints
• Manage complex projects from technical specifications to the end of the warranty period
• Work with clients to turn their needs into functional specifications and provide input data for pre-studies, costs and sizing
• Build the tender file and take part in tenders under the General Purchasing process
• Lead and coordinate matrix-project teams, including people from other functions
• Plan and coordinate studies and works, and ensure compliance with legal, environmental and safety rules
• Control CAPEX and OPEX costs and ensure reliable documentation
• Ensure maintainability of new equipment, technical, financial and contractual reporting, and risk management
• Keep technology trends up to date and maintain the supplier network
