Independent Monitoring Function (IMF) Manager – DOA

About the role

ATR is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its Independent Monitoring Function (IMF) for Design Organization Approval (DOA). The manager will act as the key liaison between ATR Engineering and EASA, ensuring the Design Management System (DMS) complies with Part 21 regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Verify DMS compliance with Part 21 and ATR directives.
• Coordinate surveillance of design suppliers under DOA delegation.
• Prepare, conduct, follow‑up and close internal DOA audits.
• Perform regulatory watch and maintain the DOA Compliance Checklist.
• Manage DOA signature delegations and changes to the DMS.
• Maintain the Design Organisation Handbook (DOH).
• Participate in EASA audits and ATR/EASA meetings.
• Lead training sessions on regulatory and DOH requirements for engineering staff.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Quality, Safety or Compliance.
• 5‑10 years experience in the aerospace industry.
• Minimum 5 years in engineering or quality roles.
• 2‑4 years managing Part 21J compliance.
• Proven interface experience with EASA or other aviation authorities.
