Implementation Engineer – Payment Orchestration

About the role

Implementation Engineers at ProcessOut help merchants successfully integrate the payment orchestration platform, providing technical guidance from onboarding through go‑live.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to merchants during their implementation of ProcessOut.
• Plan, manage and track integration projects, ensuring timely go‑live.
• Answer integration‑related questions covering configuration, debugging, testing and documentation.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve incidents, escalating when necessary and reporting outcomes.
• Collaborate with account managers, support teams and engineers to resolve issues during trials and post‑implementation.
• Work with Product and Engineering to surface improvement ideas.
• Advise management on project status, risks and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain and update merchant‑facing documentation to reduce friction.

Required profile

• Customer‑driven and tech‑savvy with strong business acumen.
• Ability to read and analyse server and application logs and debug errors.
• Experience with REST HTTP APIs and project management or customer onboarding.
• Proven ability to investigate and solve complex technical problems.

Required skills

• SaaS platforms and web services/APIs.
• Web and mobile application integration.
• IT infrastructure knowledge.
• REST HTTP API expertise.
• JavaScript scripting for small applications.
• Ability to read Golang code.
• Data analytics tools proficiency.
