Hydrogen Plant Operations & Maintenance Technician (3x8, 7/7)

About the role

Air Liquide France Industrie, part of Air Liquide, produces large volumes of industrial gases (oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, argon) and designs energy-efficiency and decarbonisation solutions for the chemical, refinery, metallurgy and energy sectors. For its on-site hydrogen units serving customers in the south-east basin, it is looking for an operations and maintenance technician working a 3x8, 7/7 schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the hydrogen production installations for basin customers, applying operating procedures to ensure safety, quality and reliability of supply
• Adjust operating parameters during process deviations caused by load changes and investigate alarms and process deviations
• Carry out close-range maintenance in coordination with the Close-Range Maintenance Manager
• Take part in starting up installations remotely or on site
• Prepare work permits for subcontractor interventions and manage equipment locking and release
• Carry out actions defined in work permit, lock-out/tag-out and other procedures, and decide on actions needed while on duty

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree level (BTS CIRA)
• At least 5 years of experience in process control and/or equipment maintenance
