Human Resources Manager – France

About the role

Verifone is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR activities for its French operations and support neighboring markets (Spain, Italy, Portugal). The role will act as a strategic partner to business leaders, driving people initiatives that align with global and regional objectives while ensuring compliance with local labor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and programs to attract, retain and develop talent in line with Verifone’s business goals.
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders and people managers, providing coaching, counseling and training.
• Maintain visibility across sites through regular visits and employee engagement activities.
• Ensure compliance with French employment law, manage union and works council relations, and keep HR policies up‑to‑date.
• Provide practical advice on labor law application to support a fast‑changing business environment.
• Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to understand local talent availability and support recruitment efforts.

Required profile

• Several years of HR experience, preferably in a multinational technology or payments company.
• In‑depth knowledge of French labor legislation and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to act as a strategic business partner and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and French.
