HR Systems, Data & Automation Team Lead

About the role

Pennylane is looking for a senior leader to drive AI‑powered HR transformation and improve employee experiences using Workday as the core HCM platform. You will shape the People technology ecosystem, own the roadmap, and lead a small team of Workday experts and a data analyst.

Key responsibilities

• Own the People systems product roadmap, balancing user needs, business impact, risk and capacity.
• Identify, prototype and deliver AI and automation solutions across HR processes, ensuring privacy, governance and GDPR compliance.
• Partner with IT, Finance and business stakeholders to design, integrate and maintain secure, scalable connections between Workday and third‑party tools.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of two Workday HRIS experts and one HR Data Analyst, organizing delivery through agile sprints.

Required profile

• Strong experience leading HR systems and People technology initiatives.
• Background in enterprise HCM environments and ability to challenge solution design.
