Housekeeping Assistant – New Opening

About the role

We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our newly opened Ruby Lilou hotel in Marseille. You will ensure rooms and public areas are spotless, supporting a vibrant, guest‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the cleanliness of guest rooms and public spaces on a daily basis.
• Act as a substitute for the Housekeeping Operations Manager during their absence.
• Share responsibility for the housekeeping team, coordinating internal staff and external cleaning contractors.
• Train and coach team members to uphold established quality standards.
• Assist in ordering supplies, handling invoices and checking delivery bills for external cleaning services.
• Collaborate with hotel hosts and maintenance to fulfil guest requests promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar housekeeping position.
• Strong passion for cleanliness and a keen eye for detail.
• Confident, friendly demeanor with a sense of humour.
• Ability to interact effectively with international guests and respond to diverse needs.
• Fluent French and good command of English.
