Head of HR – France

About the role

Triumph Group is seeking a Head of HR for its French operations, based in Obernai. This senior position will lead the local HR function, ensuring compliance with French labour law and supporting the business across commercial, logistics and warehousing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the local HR team to maximise performance and engagement.
• Provide expert guidance on French employment law, compliance and employee‑relations matters.
• Oversee end‑to‑end HR operations for commercial, logistics and warehouse divisions, understanding distribution workflows.
• Bridge communication between senior management (General Manager, Commercial Director) and blue‑collar staff, maintaining trusted relationships.
• Report local HR progress within a global matrix and collaborate with European and global HR teams.

Required profile

• Broad generalist HR experience across diverse markets and cultures.
• Minimum 5 years experience as an HR Manager.
• Strong background in business partnering, employee relations and French labour law.
• International HR project experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration; professional HR qualification is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French.
