Head of Finance (Interim)

About the role

This interim position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer of a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed technology platform. Over a six‑month period you will own the consolidated financial reporting function and drive the professionalisation of reporting processes across multiple international entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated accounts.
• Own statutory reporting and ensure full compliance with local GAAP.
• Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes, systems and internal controls.
• Oversee treasury activities and cash‑management across the group.
• Manage group‑wide financial governance and balance‑sheet reporting.
• Partner with senior leadership to deliver high‑quality analysis and commentary.
• Support the CFO on finance transformation initiatives, including the rollout of a new ERP system.
• Maintain relationships with external auditors and key finance stakeholders.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant, preferably with practice experience.
• Strong technical accounting and consolidation expertise.
• Proven track record in group reporting within a multi‑entity environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Confident communicator with strong leadership capabilities.
• Experience working in LBO or private‑equity environments.
