Head of Data & Business Intelligence

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on Head of Data & Business Intelligence to lead the transformation of our enterprise data environment across retail, e‑commerce, finance, supply chain, ERP and HR systems. Based in Saint‑Denis, Réunion Island, you will shape the data strategy, build scalable analytics platforms and enable AI‑ready capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the company’s enterprise data architecture.
• Build and optimise a central data warehouse and analytics environment.
• Develop strategic dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Lead data‑governance initiatives, including master data management, data quality, lineage and ownership.
• Manage and mentor data engineers and BI team members.
• Collaborate with business, IT and external stakeholders to align data solutions with business goals.
• Drive advanced analytics projects such as forecasting, inventory optimisation and customer insights.
• Prepare the organisation for AI and advanced data use cases.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of experience in data, analytics or BI environments.
• Proven experience in data architecture, data engineering and BI leadership.
• Strong understanding of data governance and master data management.
• Leadership experience managing data or BI teams.
• Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
