Hardware Maintenance Technician

About the role

Siemens Healthineers, a Siemens company, is looking for a Hardware Maintenance Technician to support its customer equipment in the areas of Mâcon, Roanne, Bourg-en-Bresse and Lyon. The technician performs mainly pre-defined technical tasks to deliver defined service work.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out annual preventive maintenance
• Handle corrective maintenance, including total failures and scheduled repairs
• Implement technical modifications and carry out hardware and software updates on accelerators
• Document technical, diagnostic and administrative steps in the customer relationship management system, following current procedures
• Resolve technical problems remotely using diagnostic tools or schedule an on-site intervention

Required profile

• Degree from a technical institute or university in electronics, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering or a related field, or equivalent training
• Professional knowledge and experience in electronic and electromechanical engineering, including test equipment used for checking and calibrating electronic equipment
• Written and spoken French and English
