GOPS Base Manager – Morocco

About the role

Ryanair is seeking a GOPS Base Manager to lead ground operations at one of its Moroccan bases. The role ensures that all operational procedures, safety standards and performance targets are consistently met across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operations at Ryanair bases and airports within the assigned region.
• Manage base and airport set‑up and ensure ongoing compliance with Ryanair ground operational and administrative procedures.
• Guarantee infrastructural, contractual and operational requirements meet the highest safety standards.
• Maintain optimum punctuality, customer service and cost‑efficiency.
• Liaise with airport authorities and ground handling agencies to sustain safe, efficient operations.
• Develop and implement programmes for corporate policy changes, legislative updates and traffic capacity adjustments.
• Participate in AOC and User Committees.
• Chair weekly meetings with base personnel, record minutes and action points.
• Report issues to Flight Operations, In‑flight and Engineering departments and provide practical assistance.
• Visit and approve potential new bases and airports in cooperation with the commercial department.
• Manage invoice approval, negotiate contracts and support the General Manager on various projects.

Required profile

• Experience in a fast‑paced, demanding, high‑growth organisation.
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluent English; a second European language is beneficial.
• Strong administration skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Self‑initiative and flexibility to travel and adapt quickly to change.
• Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven problem‑solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
