Global Master Data Management Director

About the role

The Global Master Data Management Director leads Royal Canin’s enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) and governance strategy across all business operations worldwide. This senior position ensures master data is standardized, trusted, and scalable to support digital transformation, AI‑driven innovation, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the global MDM vision, strategy, roadmap, and operating model (global, regional, local).
• Align master data initiatives with the broader enterprise data strategy and business objectives.
• Establish global data standards, policies, and governance frameworks for Finance, Vendor, Product, R&D, and Customer domains.
• Serve as executive sponsor for master‑data transformation projects and drive cross‑domain governance.
• Lead enterprise data governance programs across regions, defining data ownership, stewardship models, and accountability structures.
• Collaborate with Petcare and Mars Global Services to ensure interoperability of data platforms.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or enterprise data programs.
• 5+ years leading global MDM initiatives or large‑scale data transformation projects.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders in a complex, global environment.
• Strong business process, data, and systems understanding.
