Global Account Director – Social Media

About the role

BBDO Paris is seeking a Global Account Director to join its Central Team and lead social media strategy for a major entertainment client. Reporting to the Global Business Director, you will combine strategic thinking, creative collaboration, and operational expertise to deliver on‑brand, on‑brief, and on‑schedule social campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Act as senior strategic partner to client leadership, building trust and coordinating local agencies.
• Translate US‑team guidelines into clear briefs for local teams, ensuring understanding of narrative context and creative universe.
• Write compelling creative briefs for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube assets together with the Social Strategists.
• Oversee content development, coordinating strategists, creatives and producers to meet brand and schedule requirements.
• Participate in on‑set shoots for social‑first content alongside creators and talent.
• Lead and mentor the Account Manager team to ensure high‑quality execution.
• Present performance metrics, KPIs and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Communication, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience on international social media accounts within an advertising agency.
• Fluent English; additional Italian, Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese is a plus.
• Genuine passion for films, series and entertainment content.

What we offer

• Permanent contract (CDI) based in Paris 17th arrondissement, starting July 1 2026.
