Full‑stack Software Engineer – AI Developer Tools

About the role

Alan is building AI‑native engineering tools to empower both engineers and non‑engineers in the health‑insurance space. As a Full‑stack Software Engineer you will join the "Everyone Can Build" crew and help create the infrastructure, agents and platforms that make AI‑driven development seamless and scalable.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack features using Python/Flask, React and React Native.
• Build and evolve Hopper, Alan’s background‑coding agent, including orchestration and parallel agent pools.
• Create autonomous testing infrastructure that validates code before shipping.
• Implement sandboxed development environments to remove brittle local setups.
• Develop CI/CD and quality guardrails such as auto‑fix, complexity scoring and automated PR reviews.
• Collaborate closely with product crews to turn engineering decisions into shipped products.

• Passion for building developer‑centric tools and AI‑native workflows.
• Comfortable working across the full stack, from backend services to frontend interfaces.
• Enjoys collaborating with cross‑functional product teams.
