Fullstack Engineer

About the role

Comand AI is building next‑generation C2 software used in live defence operations. As a Fullstack Engineer you will own features from concept to production, focusing on the interfaces and workflows that frontline users rely on.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end features on the Prevail operational planning platform, from scoping to backend implementation and production release.
• Develop front‑end workflows in TypeScript/React that present complex, time‑critical information clearly.
• Implement geospatial data pipelines using tile servers and PostGIS for demanding spatial queries.
• Build and harden ML/LLM orchestration pipelines with LangGraph and LangChain, handling retries, queueing, and long‑running jobs.
• Design solutions for on‑premise and appliance deployments where hardware, connectivity, and resource constraints are critical.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and forward‑deployed teams to translate user feedback into robust features.

Required profile

• Mission‑driven, low‑ego attitude with strong attention to detail and first‑principles problem solving.
• Proven ability to move across the stack while keeping the user‑facing experience sharp.
• Solid full‑stack production experience, comfortable owning both interfaces and backend systems.
• Experience with TypeScript and React, plus Python or the ability to become productive quickly with FastAPI.
• Track record of taking ambiguous problems through release and iterative improvement.
• EU or UK citizenship (contractual requirement tied to defence contracts).
