Full Stack Engineering Intern

About the role

Symbiose is seeking a Full Stack Engineering Intern to help build and enhance its customer‑facing platform that delivers real‑time forest intelligence. You will work side‑by‑side with senior engineers, remote‑sensing specialists, and data scientists on a mission‑driven deep‑tech product.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and frontend interfaces under senior guidance.
• Integrate geospatial, remote‑sensing, and machine‑learning outputs into APIs and web applications.
• Assist in building and operating data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Enhance user‑facing features using React and TypeScript.
• Support the incorporation of geospatial visualisation tools such as Mapbox GL.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related programme.
• Strong interest in AI, remote sensing, environmental data and climate impact.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, research‑driven environment.
