Full Professor – Digital Marketing (Full‑time)

About the role

emlyon business school seeks a full‑time Full Professor in Digital Marketing to join its Department of Marketing. The appointment starts in September 2027 and combines high‑level research with innovative teaching across undergraduate, graduate, master’s and executive programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver courses in digital marketing, marketing & AI, eCRM and new product development, primarily on the Lyon campus.
• Conduct and publish research in top‑tier journals, contributing to the school’s international visibility.
• Mentor junior scholars, supervise doctoral candidates and participate in funded research projects.
• Engage with the Lifestyle Research Centre and/or the MTCI Research Centre according to research interests.
• Contribute to institutional service such as curriculum design, program management and external representation.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related discipline.
• Either a strong research‑focused record (publications in FT‑listed journals) or a hybrid profile that balances research with proven pedagogical innovation.
• Ability to create synergies between research, teaching and real‑world practice.
• Willingness to relocate to Lyon (relocation support provided).
