Frontend Engineer

About the role

As a Frontend Engineer at Loft you will shape the user interface of Cockpit, the company’s satellite‑operations platform, and deliver powerful satellite‑management tools for end‑users. You will work closely with the Frontend Engineering team and collaborate with the broader Software organization to bring new features to life.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and refine web tools for satellite operations and autopilot observability.
• Develop and maintain single‑page applications using Vue.js, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Collaborate on UI/UX design to improve user experience.
• Integrate frontend components with backend GraphQL APIs.
• Support internal teams in using the Cockpit ground‑software.
• Participate in testing (unit and integration) and contribute to code quality.
• Gain hands‑on exposure to satellite operations and mission success.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience building SPAs with Vue.js or React.
• Familiarity with GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks such as Vitest, Jest or Cypress.
• Interest in space or aerospace technologies and a good sense of UI/UX.
