Frontend Engineer – Inbox Web

About the role

As a Frontend Engineer on the Inbox team, you will help build Proton’s core services such as Mail and Calendar. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, user‑friendly web experiences while collaborating closely with product, design, and API teams.

Key responsibilities

• Take end‑to‑end ownership of mobile‑focused web application projects, from scoping to delivery.
• Manage timelines, prioritize features, and distinguish essential work from non‑essential work.
• Explore and introduce new technologies, methodologies, and approaches to improve web development.
• Design components for scalability, considering data caching, network efficiency, and performance.
