Frontend Developer (React) – Remote, France

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer specialized in React to join a remote‑first team supporting a partner company based in France. You will be responsible for building high‑quality, reusable UI components and turning complex product requirements into responsive, user‑friendly web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reusable React components using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Translate UI/UX designs into accessible, performant web pages.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product owners to ensure seamless integration.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering best practices.
• Maintain and evolve existing codebases for long‑term stability.
• Implement automated testing with Cypress, Playwright, Storybook, and Chromatic.
• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, including styling and state management.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in frontend development with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3 and modern styling approaches (SCSS, CSS‑in‑JS, TailwindCSS).
• Proven experience with GraphQL and Apollo for data handling.
• Experience building and maintaining production‑grade, scalable frontend applications.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for remote teamwork.
