French‑Speaking Social Media Content Moderator – Athens

About the role

Mercier Consultancy Group is looking for French‑speaking professionals to join an on‑site social media moderation team in Athens. You will help keep online communities safe and inclusive by reviewing user‑generated content in French and ensuring compliance with platform policies.

Key responsibilities

• Review, assess and moderate French content across multiple social media platforms.
• Identify and act on harmful, abusive, misleading or policy‑violating material such as hate speech, graphic content, misinformation and spam.
• Escalate complex or sensitive cases to senior moderation teams following established workflows.
• Monitor emerging trends and threats to proactively protect platform integrity.
• Document decisions accurately in internal moderation tools and ticketing systems.
• Collaborate with Trust & Safety, Quality Assurance and Training teams to continuously improve moderation standards.
• Participate in calibration sessions, briefings and ongoing training programmes.

Required profile

• Native or fluent French (spoken and written).
• Valid EU passport or work authorization for Greece.
• Strong familiarity with social media platforms and online community dynamics.
