Food Law Counsel – Dairy (Permanent)

About the role

Danone is seeking a Food Law Counsel specialized in dairy to ensure regulatory compliance across its multi‑local dairy brands. Based in Paris‑Saclay, you will support marketing, claim management, regulatory affairs and innovation teams by providing legal guidance on classification, labelling, advertising and health‑nutrition claims.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor evolving food‑law regulations and upcoming legislation affecting dairy products.
• Advise internal teams on claim consistency, scientific robustness and alignment with local regulatory frameworks.
• Draft, review and validate contracts with third parties that involve regulatory matters.
• Manage non‑judicial, administrative and judicial actions related to product communication, advertising and unfair competition.
• Contribute to Danone’s policy definition and protect product categories such as probiotics and dairy.

Required profile

• Legal degree with specialization in food law or related field.
• Proven experience handling regulatory compliance for dairy or food products.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex legislation.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with cross‑functional teams and external authorities.
