Floor Tiler (Carreleur Solier) – Temp Role in Rennes Area

About the role

Start People is seeking a qualified floor tiler (Carreleur Solier) for a temporary assignment, primarily serving clients in the Rennes area. The position is offered through an agency and provides a minimum of 35 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare substrates by leveling, layout planning, and verifying flatness.
• Cut, adjust, and install flexible floor coverings such as PVC, linoleum, and carpet.
• Apply adhesives, perform hot or cold joint welding, and ensure seamless seams.
• Finish installations by fitting plinths, corner trims, and threshold bars, guaranteeing proper connections with adjacent materials.

Required profile

• Certified floor tiler with a minimum N3P2 qualification.
• Available to start on Monday, 24 August.
• Willing to work on-site in the Rennes sector.

Required skills

• Surface preparation (leveling, layout planning, flatness verification).
• Installation of flexible floor coverings (PVC, linoleum, carpet).
• Adhesive application and joint welding (hot and cold).
