Flight Operations Engineer

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Flight Operations Engineer to join its Customer Services Department in Toulouse. You will work within the Flight Operation Support and Training Standards (STL) team, collaborating with pilots, simulator instructors, performance engineers and many other Airbus functions to ensure safe and efficient operation of Airbus aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical studies on a range of ATA systems, adapting the scope as required.
• Create and modify operational documentation used by pilots and airline flight‑operation engineers.
• Coordinate closely with internal departments such as Flight Tests, Flight Crew Training, Safety, Aircraft Design, Human‑Factors, Engineering Support and Skywise.
• Maintain contact with Airworthiness Authorities for approved or certified products.
• Interact with airline counterparts including chief pilots, technical pilots, flight‑ops engineers, performance engineers, dispatchers and instructors.

Required profile

• Experience interacting with Airworthiness Authorities and airline operational staff.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment with pilots, engineers and support teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ATA systems.
• Proficiency in creating operational documentation for flight crews.
