Financial Planning Analyst

About the role

Join the FP&A team at Questel as a Financial Planning Analyst. You will leverage your accounting background to drive reliable reporting, budgeting and forecasting across key product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present business review reports for assigned product lines, ensuring data accuracy, compliance with accounting rules and timely delivery.
• Maintain and improve data quality, implement checks, and collaborate with Sales and Finance teams to clean and consolidate data.
• Lead the transition from Excel‑based reporting to BI tools, increasing automation and reducing reporting delays.
• Produce monthly group reporting for investors, supporting P&L allocation rules and ensuring consistency across the organization.
• Support the annual budgeting process, build budget templates, coordinate budget meetings and integrate budget data into regular reporting.
• Continuously enhance the relevance and quality of reports to meet stakeholder needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, preferably within an international group or a Big 4/audit environment.
• Self‑starter with strong intellectual agility, capable of designing processes and dashboards from scratch.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
