Financial Planning & Analysis Intern

About the role

Back Market, a global marketplace for refurbished devices, is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Intern in Bordeaux. The intern helps produce reliable financial data and reports to support the company's financial health and growth, works closely with the finance team and contributes to the development of the budget and forecasts. The internship runs from January to June 2027, full time (35 hours per week).

Key responsibilities

• Take part in preparing monthly reports, including operational KPIs and the company's financials, as well as Board of Directors materials and other ad hoc analyses.
• Contribute to the development of the annual budget and monthly forecasts.
• Help the team with ad hoc reports, data analysis, presentations and projects such as reviewing service pricing models or improving financial tools.

Required profile

• Finance student (or equivalent) looking for a 6-month internship in Bordeaux.
• First experience of at least 5 or 6 months in corporate finance, audit and/or financial consulting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to synthesise conclusions.
• Team player with a strong sense of accountability, comfortable in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented.

Required skills

• English is essential; French is a plus.
• Excellent command of Google Suite tools, especially Google Sheets.
