Financial Controller Internship – Sep 2026

About the role

Join AXA's Group Performance Management department as a Financial Controller Intern. You will support the Controlling European Markets team in analysing financial and non‑financial performance, preparing presentations, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the monthly analysis of performance indicators, both financial and non‑financial.
• Help create management presentations and regular updates on business performance and budget execution.
• Participate in forecasting, financial planning and budgeting processes, providing accurate figures and analysis.
• Support the preparation of benchmarking studies against external competitors.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses on transversal business and financial topics as required.

Required profile

• Good understanding of finance and reporting principles, with a basic knowledge of insurance concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to organise, analyse and summarise data clearly and structurally.
• Motivation to learn and contribute even if not all qualifications are met.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint.
