Financial Controller (HR Focus)

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller with a Human Resources focus to join our Controlling team. Reporting to the Head of Controlling, you will oversee the financial management of workforce‑related costs, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor and analyse personnel cost budgets, forecasts and long‑term workforce cost projections.
• Maintain and improve FTE‑based allocation methodologies and allocation keys for business segmentation and reporting.
• Translate hiring plans and workforce changes into financial impacts for budgets, forecasts and management reporting.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to keep workforce assumptions up to date for financial planning.
• Support the development of resource‑management tools, processes and reporting.
• Ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly and annual workforce‑related reporting and develop relevant KPIs and dashboards.
• Coordinate with HR and Accounting to validate payroll accounting entries, reconcile payroll costs with the General Ledger and prepare accruals and provisions.

Required profile

• Strong background in finance or controlling, preferably with experience in personnel cost management.
• Ability to work as a bridge between Finance, HR and business stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on delivering actionable financial insights.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
