Field Service Technician - Generator Sets (Metz)

About the role

Rehlko is looking for a mobile field service technician to maintain, install and repair its equipment at the Metz service center, covering departments 08, 51, 55, 10, 52, 57, 54 and 88. The technician is the main contact for customers, works on varied sites with a high degree of autonomy and plays a key role in customer satisfaction. The position is full-time (CDI) with frequent travel.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance visits on the installed equipment fleet.
• Advise customers on the proper use and maintenance of the products.
• Perform electrical and/or mechanical refurbishment work.
• Adjust, test and commission equipment installations, and carry out start-up and commissioning activities.
• Contribute to the development of automation and control systems.
• Provide troubleshooting and emergency support to customers on an on-call rotation (about one week every six weeks).
• Report intervention activities and coordinate with Rehlko Services teams, including internal reporting, sales and technical support.

Required profile

• Ideally a qualification in electrical engineering/electrotechnics.
• Previous experience in a similar role in electrical engineering and/or mechanical maintenance.
• Strong customer service orientation and enjoyment of building customer relationships.
• Comfortable using IT tools and software.
• Knowledge of the generator set industry is an advantage.
