Field Service Engineer

About the role

Join TOMRA Food’s dynamic team as a Field Service Engineer, responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of advanced food sorting systems across France. You will provide comprehensive on‑site service, from commissioning and testing to optimisation, maintenance, training and repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver field service work efficiently, meeting cost and time objectives.
• Ensure optimal performance of TOMRA Food sorting machines to exceed customer expectations.
• Diagnose equipment issues, perform necessary repairs, and conduct installations and adjustments.
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve customer support processes.
• Provide thorough training to customers on operation and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate field reports for administrative follow‑up.

Required profile

• Technical training at BAC+2 level in Electronics, Electrotechnical, Automation, Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
• Fluent French and English (minimum B2).
• Proven experience in on‑site preventive and corrective maintenance for industrial customers.
• Willingness to travel up to 80 % of the time within France, with occasional international trips.
• Good understanding of IT, networking and PC configuration.
• Valid driver’s licence.
