Field Service Engineer – Food Sorting Systems

About the role

Join TOMRA Food as a Field Service Engineer and be the key driver behind the reliable operation of cutting‑edge food sorting equipment across France. You will combine hands‑on technical work with independent problem‑solving to ensure customers achieve maximum performance and food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver field service tasks efficiently, meeting cost and time targets.
• Ensure optimal performance of TOMRA Food sorting machines and exceed customer expectations.
• Diagnose equipment issues, perform repairs, and conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Install, adjust, and integrate sorting systems as required.
• Provide comprehensive training to customers on operation and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate field reports to support administrative follow‑up.
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve customer support processes.

Required profile

• Technical training at BAC+2 level in Electronics, Electrotechnical, Automation, Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
• Fluent French and English (minimum B2).
• Proven experience in on‑site preventive and corrective maintenance for industrial customers.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time within France, with occasional international trips.
• Good understanding of IT, networking, and PC configuration.
• Valid driver’s licence and strong relationship‑building skills.
