Field Clinical Specialist – Mitral Therapies (Centre Loire)

About the role

The Field Clinical Specialist will support the Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies business unit by delivering clinical education, certification, and technical support for our mitral therapy devices across the Centre Loire region. You will work closely with physicians, hospital staff, and sales teams to ensure successful device implementation and optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Certify centers, physicians, and related staff according to Edwards Lifesciences SOPs.
• Interact with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and proctors to provide device education and troubleshooting.
• Develop, update, and deliver training curricula, materials, and tools based on clinical trial experience.
• Conduct one‑on‑one and group training sessions for physicians, cath‑lab personnel, and hospital staff.
• Provide post‑procedure follow‑up support to maintain continuity of education and technical assistance.
• Collaborate with sales and business managers to implement growth strategies and upsell in strategic accounts.
• Validate software and hardware updates in the field.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and clinical support activities with sales leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical devices or clinical settings, preferably as a CathLab nurse.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Training experience in a clinical or technical environment.
• Strong background in interventional cardiology or related structural heart areas.
• High flexibility with frequent regional travel.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
