Enseignant(e) SII / Technologie (H/F) – CDD 18h

About the role

The Grenoble academy is seeking a teacher in Industrial Sciences and Engineering (SII) and Technology for the Lycée Polyvalent Gustave Jaume in Pierrelatte. This full‑time fixed‑term contract (18 hours of classroom teaching per week) runs until 31 /08/2027.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum in technology for middle school (grades 5‑9) and engineering/technology for high school (grades 10‑12), including the STI2D track.
• Design, implement and assess pedagogical sequences and evaluate student competencies.
• Prepare lessons, correct assignments, and participate in staff meetings.
• Contribute to BTS‑level specific teaching when required.
• Promote the values of the Republic and support students’ overall academic success.

Required profile

• Minimum university degree (Licence) with knowledge in at least one of: mechanical, construction, electrical, or computer engineering.
• Strong relational skills, openness, patience and a genuine desire to transmit knowledge.
• Ability to work autonomously, adapt to new situations, and collaborate within a team.
• Good command of French (oral and written); English proficiency is a plus.
