Engineer Intern: AI‑Driven Embedded Software Test Specifications

About the role

The NFC Software team in Caen is looking for a final‑year engineering student to join for a 6‑month internship. You will work on applying artificial intelligence to create precise test specifications for embedded NFC software.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and propose technical solutions for test generation.
• Use AI to produce detailed top‑down and bottom‑up test specifications.
• Generate exhaustive pre‑conditions, hardware and software configurations required for test execution.
• Automate traceability links between test cases and software specifications using AI.
• Automatically publish test artifacts into the internal test database.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or final year of an engineering school (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Embedded Systems or a related field.
• Strong interest in software development and ability to quickly learn new technical topics.
• Good command of English and willingness to work in an international environment.

Required skills

• Software development knowledge (C, Python, C#).
• Understanding of software and hardware architectures.
• Experience with validation and testing methodologies.
