Engine Airworthiness Specialist (M/F)

About the role

Sabena technics Blagnac is seeking an Engine Airworthiness Specialist to ensure the airworthiness of engines and APUs throughout aircraft transitions and continued service. The role supports airline, lessor and MRO customers by managing technical records, regulatory compliance and delivery processes.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse engine/APU records for second‑hand aircraft transitions, validating airworthiness and lease compliance.
• Manage discrepancy item list closures and support customers with commitment letters.
• Enter and update status information in the MIS database for CAMO processes.
• Prepare and present engine/APU status for redelivery to lessors, including documentation and airworthiness reviews.
• Perform standard CAMO tasks such as AD/SB analysis, maintenance schedule monitoring, Kardex updates, oil consumption trend analysis and part management.
• Conduct technical audits, shop visits and pre‑purchase inspections, delivering detailed reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering (BAC+3 to BAC+5).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in continuing airworthiness, engine maintenance or related MRO activities.
• Familiarity with engine transaction processes, CAMO activities and regulatory requirements (Part‑21J, Part‑21G, Part‑CAMO, Part‑145).
