Energy & Resource Compliance Expert

About the role

The Energy & Resource Compliance Expert owns and drives three core operational domains within DATA4’s Energy & Resource Operations function: regulatory watch and compliance implementation, energy‑related data disclosure to external bodies, and governance of the energy rebilling process. Reporting to the Energy & Resource Efficiency Manager, the role works transversally with country operations directors, finance, legal, sustainability, IT and compliance teams across Europe, translating regulatory and operational requirements into actionable plans.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor European and country‑level energy regulations, analyse operational impact, and lead local teams in implementing compliance projects and corrective actions.
• Own the end‑to‑end process for energy‑related disclosures (EED, EuCoC, ETS, etc.), ensuring data completeness, consistency and timely communication with external bodies.
• Define and maintain a Group‑wide governance framework for energy rebilling, harmonising templates, timelines and validation principles while coordinating with local finance and operations.
• Support ISO 50001 audit management by coordinating local teams, preparing documentation, and tracking corrective actions.
• Act as the Group expert for Energy Efficiency Certificate schemes (CEE, CAE, TEE, PMEF, EEOS, etc.), identifying and qualifying valorisation opportunities across all projects and ensuring early integration into project lifecycles.
