Electrical Architect - Satellites

About the role

This position offers the chance to own the electrical architecture of satellite platforms, guiding the design from concept through qualification and delivery. You will work closely with AIT, systems, and mechanical teams to ensure performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the electrical architecture for satellite platforms, covering power generation, distribution, storage, and regulation.
• Create and maintain electrical block diagrams, interface control documents (ICDs), and harness specifications.
• Lead trade‑off studies on EPS topology, battery sizing, and power budgeting.
• Support AIT and test campaigns, troubleshooting electrical issues at subsystem and system levels.
• Collaborate with suppliers on component selection and qualification.
• Interface with systems engineering to capture and verify electrical requirements throughout the programme lifecycle.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience designing electrical architecture for spacecraft or satellite platforms.
• Strong knowledge of power systems (EPS), harness design, and electrical interfaces.
• Familiarity with space qualification standards and processes (ECSS or equivalent).
• Comfortable working across the full development lifecycle, from concept to AIT.
• Fluent in French and English.
