Early Childhood Education Director Assistant

About the role

Novastar Kids Co is seeking an organized and proactive Early Childhood Education Director Assistant to manage the front office of its childcare center. The role supports daily operations, ensures compliance with regulations, and serves as a key point of contact for staff, parents, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Director and Director Assistant, handling student attendance, health records, and learning progress documentation.
• Maintain daily and weekly staff schedules and coordinate professional development trainings.
• Monitor and uphold federal, state, and county childcare regulations, keeping all required compliance documentation up to date.
• Assist HR Manager with onboarding, training, and record‑keeping for new hires.
• Communicate with families, conduct tours for prospective clients, and address client concerns in collaboration with the team.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple administrative tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with parents, staff, and external partners.
• Familiarity with childcare regulations and a commitment to maintaining compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
