About the role

Voyant Bio, a Merck Digital Sciences Studio‑backed startup, is seeking a senior leader to drive its machine‑learning and computational biology programs. The role focuses on unlocking immune‑cell interactions to improve cancer immunotherapy for patients who do not respond to existing treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for machine‑learning and computational biology initiatives.
• Lead cross‑functional teams in developing algorithms that integrate genomics and microscopy data.
• Collaborate with scientific, engineering, and product teams to translate research discoveries into actionable therapeutic insights.
• Mentor and grow a high‑performing data science group within a fast‑moving startup environment.
• Represent the company in scientific publications and conferences.
