Director, Specialist Sales, Services Business Development

About the role

Mastercard’s Data & Services team is looking for a Director to lead the Specialist Sales function for its Services Business Development portfolio. You will own the sales strategy for the Test & Learn platform across Western Europe, driving multimillion‑dollar, multi‑year contracts with new and existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales strategy for prospect accounts in France, Italy, Spain, Benelux and Portugal.
• Build a cold pipeline, hunt new opportunities and convert them into signed platform deals.
• Present to senior client audiences and influence large, complex deals.
• Collaborate seamlessly with the broader Data & Services sales organization.
• Provide fact‑based analysis and problem‑solving in negotiations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as the face of Mastercard Data & Services to C‑suite client stakeholders.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of Mastercard’s Test & Learn value proposition.
• Strong commercial drive and ability to build senior client relationships.
• Proven track record in software or data‑driven solution selling with 6‑12+ month sales cycles.
• 10+ years of progressively complex hunting sales experience in Retail, CPG or Restaurant sectors.
