Director, People & Communications for France, Belgium & Luxembourg

About the role

KONE is seeking an experienced Director to lead People & Communications across France, Belgium and Luxembourg. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will shape business strategy, culture and talent while ensuring strong employee engagement and effective communication.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to drive business performance and organisational effectiveness.
• Lead and deploy the KONE People & Communications strategy across France, Belgium and Luxembourg.
• Strengthen leadership capability, succession planning and workforce readiness.
• Drive employee engagement and foster a high‑performance, inclusive culture.
• Lead employee relations, social dialogue, consultation processes and union partnerships.
• Support business transformation and organisational change through effective change management and communication.
• Develop and inspire a high‑performing People & Communications team.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in a senior People, HR or People & Communications leadership role.
• Strong business partnering experience within a complex, matrix, international organisation.
• Proven experience working within unionised and highly regulated environments.
• Experience leading organisational change and transformation programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management, influencing and communication skills.
• Strong operations mindset and ability to translate strategy into execution.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
