Director, Business Finance

About the role

As Director, Business Finance you will lead the finance operations for Evac’s French and Spanish legal entities and act as the trusted Finance Business Partner to the President of the Yacht business. You will be at the centre of commercial decision‑making, providing insight that drives growth, profitability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the President and leadership team to support business performance and growth.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning activities.
• Provide insight and challenge around revenue, margins, profitability, EBITDA and working capital.
• Support commercial, operational and investment decisions through robust analysis and business case evaluation.
• Identify risks and opportunities and drive actions that improve financial performance.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings for France and Spain.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee treasury activities, cash‑flow management and payment processes.
• Manage external audits and statutory reporting requirements.
• Maintain strong internal controls and balance‑sheet integrity.
• Lead and develop a finance team across France and Spain.
• Drive improvements in finance processes, reporting and systems.
• Support ERP and reporting transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant or equivalent finance professional.
• Strong experience in French statutory accounting, taxation and financial reporting.
• Experience in FP&A, business controlling or finance business partnering.
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
• Experience within industrial, engineering, manufacturing or project‑based businesses is preferred.
• Comfortable operating both strategically and hands‑on.
• Fluent in French and English.
