About the role

The Institut Mines‑Télécom (IMT Nord Europe) is seeking a senior executive to lead its Directorate of Training and Teaching. Based in Douai, the role requires a balanced presence on the Douai and Villeneuve‑d’Ascq campuses and regular travel across the Hauts‑de‑France region and Paris.

Key responsibilities

• Define and steer the overall strategy for training and teaching activities across all IMT Nord Europe sites.
• Manage the Directorate of Training and Teaching (DFE) and report directly to the Director of IMT Nord Europe.
• Coordinate with research laboratories and academic units to ensure high‑level education aligned with the school’s missions.
• Oversee the implementation of programmes that prepare responsible engineers for 21st‑century challenges.
• Facilitate collaborations with regional partners, support innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives.
• Organise regular visits to campuses in Douai, Villeneuve‑d’Ascq, Lille and other satellite sites.

Required profile

• Significant experience in higher‑education management, preferably at a French engineering school.
• Proven ability to lead large academic units and drive strategic projects.
• Experience as a senior civil servant (Agent de catégorie A) or equivalent executive contract.
• Strong understanding of engineering education, digital technologies and industrial processes.
