DevOps Cybersecurity Engineer – Build Security Tools

About the role

Scaleway is looking for a DevOps Cybersecurity Engineer to design and maintain custom security tools for its SOC, CSIRT, and Trust & Safety teams. You will help protect the company’s sovereign cloud infrastructure and ensure compliance with high security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tools for security operations teams.
• Provide tailored technical solutions to field security experts.
• Adapt internal security tooling to evolving corporate security requirements.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams across Scaleway.
• Support operations in a SecNumCloud‑compliant environment.
• Continuously optimise scripts and workflows for threat detection and remediation.

Required profile

• Intermediate to advanced experience in software development and tool creation.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity concepts, threat environments, and SOC/CSIRT operations.
• Proven ability to work closely with infrastructure or production teams.
• Capability to write clean, maintainable code.
