Design Office Controller – Finance

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Design Office Controller (Finance) to join its Finance department in Marignane, France. The role supports the Design Office and program controllers, focusing on cost management, performance measurement and financial improvement within helicopter development programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage programme Non‑Recurring Costs (development costs) and provide quantitative and qualitative data for management decision‑making.
• Measure performance against budgets and targets, highlight discrepancies and propose mitigation actions.
• Ensure transparency on risks and opportunities and support business partners in financial and operational performance improvement.
• Steer contributors through convergence processes, set targets and maintain data circularity.
• Monitor programmes using Earned Value Management and control inputs/outputs for Cost at Completion.
• Build financial storylines with business partners and contribute to quotation and re‑tex improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in finance or controlling.
• Strong financial analysis skills and basic knowledge of audit and accounting (a plus).
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Leadership, adaptability and a challenge‑oriented mindset.
